This has been the best program that I have been in. They are very polite, respectful. The counselors are great especially the Sunday AM one, which is probably the best counselor I have had in years. My Dr is caring, respectful, knowledgable, like a friend. He cares and is vested in my recovery. I would highly recommend.

NAS saved my life! And I can promise you that I would not be here without them!! The doctors are all very kind and understanding. As long as you are completely honest with your doctor. You can rest assured that they will not ever turn their backs on you! But that’s the thing, you have to be honest!! I know, you think that just because they are doctors…..there is no way that they will understand us as addicts. But I promise you that they do!! They get that we have cravings! And they totally get that it’s harder for us to deal with certain stressful situations and that it’s really hard for us when we experience loss in our lives!! Look, I promise you, from my very own experience…..I felt the same way and was worried about the same things. But I promise you……they do understand! I have been a patient for a couple of years now. My experience with National addiction specialists I had been on pain medication from 2005 until I found National addiction specialists an started suboxone it was like a new world to me before I was always feeling down an depressed not knowing what I was going to do from day to day it was like the walls were closing in on me an I had no way to turn an all hope for me was gone an I had just given up on life in general then I started the program with National Addiction specialists an started suboxone treatment it was like flipping a switch it helped my pain better than the opioids I had been on for years my family said they noticed the change in me my actions an how calm I have been it’s like I’m back to my old self I’m not stressed out all the time now I even rest better than I have in years an the group meetings are amazing just listening to the counselor an the other people in this treatment also knowing I’m not the only one that felt that way an everyone at national addiction specialists is very caring an listen to how I feel an helps me get through anything that I need I know I’m rambling but I could just go on an on about how great this program is but words can’t express what a blessing national addiction specialist is in my life I just hope other people find out about this program also but I’d like to say thank you to national addiction specialist for what they have done for me and how well it is help me so thank you.

I’ve been an addict for half my life and finally I found a program that honestly works and cares about there patients. They treat you like a person and that means a lot. They are there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And not only medication but counseling one on one and group counseling. My doctor is amazing. I had trouble finding a pharmacy at first bc I was new to the town. My Dr. was on it. She was on the phone with me until 8pm.She kept calling until she found a pharmacy to accept me. I would give NAS 100 stars if I could. I highly recommend. The staff is absolutely amazing.

I will forever be grateful to the doctors at National Addiction Specialists. The whole process from beginning to end has been seamless. In all of the 20 years I was an addict, I never, one time, believed I would get to a point in my life that I was clean and sober. NAS was my light at the end of a very long and dark tunnel. I truly cannot find the words to express my gratitude. Dr. Jennifer and my counselor Will are phenomenal human beings. So Ben went above and beyond. My dad had been in and out of the hospital so so Ben was on vacation with his family and still made time for my dad which he didn’t have to do that! Ben has been with us from the start and has been great to us. The process was easy and fast and they care about you. Love this place. Will save ur life if u want it. Please check into this or if not here,get help somewhere. I recommend National Addiction Specialist therapy for anyone struggling with addiction. You receive weekly counseling and the Dr. here is one that does not judge you but she holds you accountable. She always has time to listen and I’ve tried several other clinics and felt like a number, really no time for talk just screen n leave, not here though. I feel genuinely cared for and I know that each staff member has concern for my physical, mental and emotional health. I’ve struggled with this addiction for 20 plus years and tried methadone,subs, different rehabs and always failed. I went Mirror Lake Recovery center n was introduced to NAS after completion and have been clean for almost 2 years now. Truly this place works and will change your life. I now have a relationship with my family and have regained myself as well.

Unfortunately, illicit drugs can cause chronic brain changes to make individuals more impulsive and compulsive leading to relapse. This can lead to anxiety with worry and panic, which is a very common reaction.
